     McInville Paranormal is offering an opportunity to our young people to come out with us and learn about the aspects of investigating the paranormal.      The Junior Team will be learning some key factors that we feel is important to have learned and to be practiced on every investigation.

     Our goal is to create a well informed and knowledgeable group of young people that are conditioned well and productive positively as they come into adulthood in the field of paranormal investigating.

     Our hope is to teach and mentor as many young people as possible early on before they venture out on their own having developed exemplary ethics for the field, community, locations, and each other as a team.

What does the junior team do?

     The Junior Investigator is not much different from the regular investigators on our team. They will investigate locations that are claimed to be haunted, with real equipment, using real techniques with experienced investigators. When they have accomplished all phases of learning, they will be able to conduct a full investigation on their own. Once this is achieved, they will investigate without interference but with supervision from the adult investigators.

     The Junior Investigators will learn a thorough curriculum to basic investigating. We will mentor the Junior Investigator all the way up to Full member status at age 18. The below illustrations show what this curriculum looks like. There is not a time limit to each phase of the curriculum. The junior team will work together, learn together, and succeed together (no one left behind). They will learn the value of teamwork, the weakest link theory, and learn to adapt and help strengthen their team.

     You may be asking yourself, but what about the 17-year-olds. Well, this is a very critical age. This is the age where they will be considered probationary members to the full membership adult team. Additionally, they are the lead investigators for the Junior Team. They will also be continuing learning, but a bit more in depth. Some of these things that they will be learning are relations between multiple teams and developing mutual teamwork skills. They will also learn about how to conduct themselves with clients and property owners when arranging an investigation. There are plenty more in-depth knowledge that the 17 years olds will be experiencing without a doubt, but nevertheless, still advancing.

     Each junior member will be taught the basic aspects of paranormal investigating. There are Phases, and then steps to every phase. They will need to become knowledgeable in 1 step before advancing to the next, and as such when all the steps in a phase is accomplished, the junior investigator will then advance to the next phase. the following outlines these phases and their steps.
