There are places the desert tried to erase.

And then there’s Gleeson.

Once a booming mining town… now abandoned to wind, dust, and memory. Crumbling structures still stand against the sky — the old schoolhouse ruins, remnants of a hospital, scattered outbuildings, weathered homes frozen mid-story.

But history here isn’t tidy.

There is a home where a wife is said to remain buried beneath the porch.

A residence once occupied by a convicted killer in the 1990s, later executed for the murder of two teenage girls.
